 :hand:My goal for 2023 was to hit 200 metric, but the swinny tool bugs lost ~15 off my score and made me think it unachievable for most the year so I took my eye off it. Bugs now fixed and I re-imported all my data to be pleasantly surprised:

Good enough! I need three more rides to hit the magic 200 mark, and then it rolls off rapidly, as expected. Doubt I'll hit 210 in my lifetime!

Not sure about the reliability of that site (or rather, what it actually calculates) though, I can't rhyme the YACF stats with the fact that I did a 7+ hours 202km ride on January 1st.

Very similar to me. I reached 133 miles at the very end of 2023 which you saw. 15 more days for 134 and 46 days for 140. I'm looking forward to reaching 137 miles, as if I continue to ride at least 140 miles when riding beyond 200km, then it will be just 1 more ride after 137 miles to reach 138 miles. I have never ridden 137 miles exactly.

The shortest distance (in miles rounded down) that I haven't done is 95 miles, followed by 97, 98 and 99.  I've ridden between 100 and 109 miles 166 times.  There is something about that number 100.

After that, the next missing numbers are 121 and 123.  200km is 124.4 miles.

Friday's Easter Arrow finally ticked me over to metric Eddington 200 🥳

I've been sat in 199 for months, pushing out under distance GPS tracks and stupidly doing overnight 200kms that get split over two days lol.

Now I hit 200 I can retire as that's never going to change this lifetime...

Well done Thing1.  The mathematics of Eddington numbers tend towards stasis at a particular point.  As few of my 200km rides were exactly 200km mine wont be quite the same, but I have a suspicion that 150 miles will prove to be an uncrossable boundary.  The km mark will probably meander to the very low 200s before ossifying.  Hence the furlong counter to provide a sense of progress...
