Putting OS maps on an iPhone?
« on: 25 April, 2010, 04:43:29 pm »
I see there are now a number of apps that will run on an iPhone and give OS mapping.

I suspect the underlying data that comes from the OS conforms to a certain standard coding whatever "skin" the third party vendor uses.  Is there any way of getting Tracklogs files on to an iPhone?  It seems crazy that I should buy three different maps for the same area (paper, Tracklogs, iPhone app).

Yes I know I should probably have bought some other mapping program that does have an iPhone app but it's too late for that now...

Will TrekBuddy run on an iPhone?

Is it one of these?

MIDP and Symbian phones
Blackberry
Windows Mobile devices
Palm (Garnet OS)
Android

Maybe read this:
