GWS Soupy.

If OD mentions his healing hands, don't fall for it!

They worked on Wednesday evening so don't be so dismissive  >:(

I think there's a specific self-help group for victims of OD's healing hands now.

Thanks for that and GWS Soupy!

I was thinking the worst until the PM arrived. I thought that pickled eggs weren't cutting it any more and a new initiation ceremony was taking place.   ::-)

This Wednesday shall we all meet at The Compasses, LG so the Flatlanders can regale us with tales of daring endeavors?

And if all goes well I should have a little gift for you all

Compasses

We need to talk about dates for an Essex Super Randonneur Medal Ceremony at our Spiritual Home...probably in November. Consult your diaries.

Which day of the week did you have in mind?

How about the "other" Compasses for this week - ie Totham.

That is the traditional venue when we have tired Flatlanders in the peloton.

I am particularly looking forward to you explaining to AndyC33 how much easier a 600 is compared to a 400.

Hmmm.  Having seen his one and only comment on FB I'm wondering if the normally mild mannered AndyC33333333333333333333333333 might advance a counter argument with some degree of vim  ;D

That works for me.  I need to ask the friendly landlord about using his establishment as a control for the Knights Templar Compasses & Cross audax in February

If Soupy is still in Broomfield the peloton could swing by there... ;D

Saturday 12th or 26th November, or maybe Friday 11th/25th. We'll have to see how the Compasses feel about us taking over the Green Room.

Totham Compasses is fine by me for this Wednesday.

Compasses at Totham?  Smashing.  Just hope my legs think the same by Weds.

If I could ask a favour of Tomsk and huggy... could you bring a stamp along so that I can finish off my Fixed SR and Fixed Wheel Challenge Brevets please?

(Will be very embarassing if I forget to bring it along after this!)

Totham Compasses sounds good if my legs have recovered from Flatlands (30 minuets sleep in a bus shelter makes sooooo much difference ).

The Totham Compasses....SAWEET.....I might even just go direct there on the Croix. It can be the first test for the latest Tubeless tyres, others I have had did not last that distance so I shall be prepared.

all that rain and wet made things rub a little more than usual.....I was actually looking up to see if it was possible to OD on Sudocrem yesterday.

EDIT: I will try to remember my Fixed Wheel Brevet as well since the stamp will be doing the rounds.

I reckon the Compasses at Totham might be Londoner friendly... although I have to wait until after 18.30 from Stratford before I can head most of way assisted by Anglia trains (too far for a "school day" to cycle out. What time do you normally arrive/leave?
I might even bring my new bike... (if I can find a way to attach some luggage to it so I can bring a few essentials)

The Witham peloton normally leaves at 7:30pm. If you get a train to Witham we'll meet you at the station.
