Brompton luggage versatility...
« on: 12 November, 2011, 10:17:11 am »
I got an S Bag for my Brom, which is great, although it was only after I'd bought it that I read about the restricted mouth of the opening, which I agree is a little bit of a nuisance, but anyway.

I've found that it's easy to extend the capacity by just tying stuff on top...

The dreadfully agricultural nylon rope was all we had kicking about in the office....

Coming back from Whitby last week, wanting to grab some supermarket pizza for dinner, but having a bag full of luggage, I was lucky to also have a spare Carradice saddlebag to hand...

There's a career option, pizza delivery!

I'm loving the Brom. Yesterday evening, MFWHTBAB and I, both on Broms, pulled up at lights, and were joined by a chap on another. We all eyed each other, and I said we should start a club! How many other bikes would you get three of in the same ASL at the same time in a small northern city?

Is this the start of a competition, who can get most in/on an S bag? :)

Nevermind pizza delivery.  Looks like you're geared up for Indian takaway after-care in the first photo.

My favourite photo of a Brompton was one showing a second brommie, folded, and strapped to the back-rack of the first.  Caption: "A new style of tandem".  Can't remember where I saw it though.

That's an idea!

But don't forget the competition to see who can get the most in the Jiffy Bag it arrived in...
