On-line camping stores

I need to get some new camping gear and will most likely buy this on-line.
My recent camping buys have mostly come via Decathlon, so if anyone can recommend any on-line camping shop/retailers I would be most gratefull

Go Outdoors is OK, (on price, delivery and website) but they don't have much high-end stuff.

The Outdoor Shop - The Outdoor Shop

Very good prices, great range of stock.  Helpful in the shop too - thoroughly recommended.

Green Man Bushcraft for all your pointy-thing requirements.  They've always been first rate for me.

I would unrecommend these people.  I never did get a response to my email.

I'd recommend this place - helpful advice, even for the small bits and bobs that I buy, and good service:

http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/

The website is often excruciatingly slow though. Still, they do have lots of desirable objects.

Ditto. Brilliant service - they follow up well and deliver very very fast.

Yeah, that reminds me - I bought a little head torch from them and they rang me a few days later so see how I was getting on with it  :) They were somewhat disappointed to realise that I don't actually camp these days, lightly or otherwise, otherwise I suspect they'd have been happy to natter all day about STUFF.

They don't do a lot of stuff, but if they've got what you need Alpkit are pretty good.  They've always been fast and efficient when I ordered from them, and what they sell seems good value for money.

They did miss off one item from an order, but when I emailed them about this, they popped it in the post without the slightest quibble.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Seconded.  They're only just up the road from here and Kris is a jolly nice bloke (both times I met him).

They don't do just pointy things like wot I've got downstairs.

Discount Outdoor Equipment - Venturesport.co.uk, Norwich
http://www.peglers.co.uk/  Bought my first decent tent from them 15 years ago.
http://www.alpenstock.co.uk/home.htm  I know Alpenstock are not really on line for ordering etc but they are very friendly and know what they are talking about because they use the stuff.  I have dealt with them by email and made the trek to go into the shop which was well worthwhile.

Another ditto, they also phoned me up to check something was OK. I was slightly surprised, but I'd e-mailed to ask if I could have it on a "sale or return" basis as it was a gift for someone and they wanted to know if the person had liked it.
Seemed like really nice people.

Alpkit are also great.
