My recent camping buys have mostly come via Decathlon, so if anyone can recommend any on-line camping shop/retailers I would be most gratefull

Go Outdoors is OK, (on price, delivery and website) but they don't have much high-end stuff.

Yeah, that reminds me - I bought a little head torch from them and they rang me a few days later so see how I was getting on with it   They were somewhat disappointed to realise that I don't actually camp these days, lightly or otherwise, otherwise I suspect they'd have been happy to natter all day about STUFF.

They don't do a lot of stuff, but if they've got what you need Alpkit are pretty good.  They've always been fast and efficient when I ordered from them, and what they sell seems good value for money.

They did miss off one item from an order, but when I emailed them about this, they popped it in the post without the slightest quibble.

Another ditto, they also phoned me up to check something was OK. I was slightly surprised, but I'd e-mailed to ask if I could have it on a "sale or return" basis as it was a gift for someone and they wanted to know if the person had liked it.
Seemed like really nice people.
