I've thought of another "interesting" fact about me, but I'll save it for the NWS version of this thread...

My brother and I talked to each other in bed when we were asleep. When we got separate rooms we talked louder. When I moved out to my own place my brother used to get out of bed, open the window and shout to me.

Well, I was working with Gary Glitter the very next week... :o

I, too, am an exhibited artist, though sculpture in my case.  My 'Violets'n'Herring in the Cistern' was a hit! :D

What?  :o  Do you have any pictures?

No, but that's partly cause the herring got a bit mingin & maggoty.  It was merely meant as a present for some friends who had an exhibition, but when I presented it to them, they cleared a space at the front and put it in pride of place :D

The herring were replaced with cardboard fish after the first day or so.  The violets remained real.

I had another exhibited, but I can't remember which... ;D

Its a shame you've not got a picture.  I'm not very good at art appreciation being shallow un stuff.  A picture of your sculpture might have helped me realise what I was missing!

That's just plain weird!  ;D  Does your brother live in this part of cyber space?  I think he'd fit right in!

I was interviewed by Paul Foot for a programme he and Jeremy Hardy were doing about the use of PFI in the NHS. I still have the tape of it somewhere.

My first language was Welsh. I learned  it from the TV when I got back from pre school. I used to get put in front of the TV, around noon, and at that time the only programmes on were Welsh language.
When we visited my Great Grandmother, Blodwyn, I used to speak to her in Welsh, her native tongue and we'd have little chats which no one else understood.

Edit: Removed an extra Great, don't know where that come from.

I was in a really crap TV series about the English Civil War. If you watch carefully you will notice that I am on both sides in the big battle. Indeed I rather surrealy kill myself using a big gun.

i'm in an episode of Lovejoy.   He goes to watch his daughter in a cross-country race that was filmed at my school, I'm running past in the background while he's being cheesy to camera.

Ow, that's harsh! I used to complain about mothercare sandals and a stupid bowl-head haircut, but that puts it all into perspective ;)
