Isn't this an odd discussion
I'd like to put it on record that, if my boat sinks and someone rescues me, or even happens to be standing next to where I get washed up, I'll be grateful regardless of whether they are wearing their Sunday best, their birthday suit, or any other possibility that may come to mind.
That said, I don't really agree with the implied equivalence between covering up and shame. Whilst that can be a reason, I think it's perfectly legitimate to argue that we cover some areas out of respect for others, or because some things are still best kept private even if they are entirely something to rejoice in. If others feel differently, and want to populate a few beaches in case I get washed up there, it's fine by me.
I really don't see that my decision to spare the world my participation in the naked bike ride reflects any kind of repression on my part, but if I do happen to fall out of an aeroplane, I'll be more than happy to land in a tree as it is going past
