Daffodils in my garden are open.
Ice cream van chimes in the street.

Whoa!! That's got to be one of the earliest yet, hasn't it? Perhaps it over-wintered here? How far South was it sighted?
Certainly never seen cycling south of Sussex

They've been going all winter here. So perhaps they only migrate as far as Sheppey.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

Passed a clump of what looked a bit like wood anemones on the commute this morning. They were dangling bell-shaped flowers with a distinctly pink colour. It was a bit cold for spring flowers to open fully, so I planned to check on the way home. As it happened I returned by a different route & passed a clump of very pink looking flowers in Kenilworth & several clumps of anemones where I'd seen them last year. They weren't very open, but after the hailstorm (complete with thunder & lightning) I'd ridden through, I can't blame them.

First cowslips were emerging this morning in the usual sunny spot - not properly open yet.

Many spring lambs out in the fields. There were ewes & lambs in the next-door field today: one of our jobs was to rebuild the fence that separated them from our field. One of the locals is a collie who's not very bright that tried to play sheepdog with one of the ewes. It was something of a role-reversal to see the mother of 2 very young lambs facing down the dog & chasing it away from her offspring.

On Sunday, on the way to inspect these

,

I spotted the following in flower for the first time (for me) this spring:
Hogweed
Cow parsley
Speedwell - don't know which one
Forget-me-not
Greater stitchwort
Strawberry - probably barren
Red campion
Dog's mercury

Spring is happening in a hurry :)

Swallows! A mixed flock of about a score of swallows & martins over the Avon in Barford this morning. It's a bit early.

Also saw a couple of bluebells opening up, though not properly open yet.

Mrs Cudzo found a ladybird in the bathroom yesterday morning. It had, if we counted correctly, 16 spots. Seems a lot!

Also, we need to open the windows to let the warm air in.

A cuckoo this morning, heard but not seen. In fact, I think there were two as both were some way off and one was to the south and the other to the north.

We now have three ice cream vans chiming in our streets at different times of day. David HATES those chimes!
