I misread this one slightly.

Oddly enough I saw one of them on Saturday (obviously not the same one you saw) and mis-read it too....

Not silly at all. I've seen the results of someone used to squat toilets getting confused by a sit-down crapper. Not nice.

Indeed - a university not far from here with a large number of middle-eastern students now installs both types of toilet.

This one is quite a boast.. On the door of one of the other rooms of the hotel at which I am currently a resident.

Edit:
I now know why the comment 'Soap suds' was left on the Flickr page. Apparently this refers to a fictitious liason between two characters in a long-running northern soap opera.. Only about half Britain know that, but obviously not me.

And it is patently untrue, since all three named are fictional. :o

Two things:

1. No apostrophe.

2. Ew.

Nahh, you've got it all wrong.  It's an observation, like "CYCLISTS DISMOUNT".  After all, farmers very frequently do own seed.   :D

Forgetting, for one moment, the cyclist's apparel (for that was clearly a 03:00am decision by the graphic design department)...
And apologies for the slightly shaky Nokia-not-Nikon quality of the photo....

But am I alone in seeing some (a lot of)  irony in this train-mounted ad?

Aren't bikes banned from the Olympic Stadium for the duration? Or have I got that wrong?

Andrij?

No bikes in the Olympic Park for the duration of the Games (including Para-Olympics).  The Greenway will be shut to cyclist, at least the bit which goes along the Park.  The Lea towpath will also be shut starting well before the games.  BTW, neither the Greenway nor towpath go through the Park itself, just along side it for a bit.  You'll be able to ride your bike to near the Park, but you'll have to park up and join the peds for careful vetting to make sure you're not planning to spend any cash and/or bringing in/wearing anything not produced by one of the sponsors.

Sorry, should that have been in the Rant thread?
;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT
