After seven months in Germany with just a few visits home this Recycling Centre's name is rather apt.

I wonder whether there is an F on the door or not.

Apparently, but I don't think he's in the window.

Rather crass, slapping the name along the side like that.  The original F.S.was much more discreet.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

But at least that purple thing actually works and is in one piece, which is more than can be said for tha tmillstone around the NRM's neck, the "proper" flying scotsman.  Being really boring, of course the one you pictured relates to the train, the Flying Scotsman, rather than the locomotive similarly named which occasionally hauled said train.

Certainly, the FS train was hauled by several different locos, but my comment re discretion stands. The name plates on the locos assigned to the FS train were extremely modest in comparison with the current shrieker.

Ah, having now seen this from a proper PC at home, I see the original purpose.  The amusing pics were blocked at work, only revealing the somewhat more prosaic one.  I am now officially amused by the original pic, now I can actually see it!

Weak translation.
'Lange Hosen' might equal 'long trousers' but a better-worded notice might suggest shorts were unsuitable, rather than begging diners to wear trousers.
