To be fair to them, there is an 'E'.  It's on another bench, about 15 feet away.

What really really makes my blood boil, is that the benches are where the disabled parking used to be. There is no longer any disabled parking adjacent to the York city centre.

The council (just voted out in the recent election) were a bunch of absolut morons.

"Behave decently" is a term for "no flirting". Another common sign, "Do not create nuisance" means do not urinate in public.

Sadly no photo of this, but I loved the sign I spotted in Chennai that read, "Smoking is injurious to the health."  There is something about proper Indian English that is sufficiently idiosyncratic to make things all seem theeka. Of course, this polite reminder not to put yourself, or those around you, at risk from inhaling toxic fumes was placed in the central reservation of one of Chennai's busiest roads and I was able to read it as we had been stuck in traffic for half an hour. ::-)

I had to make a picture of this at some point. I only come near Titz at brevets.
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It has been too many days since I have ridden through the night with a brevet card in my pocket...

A mystery sign in the toilets at Heathrow Terminal 3. It's just a mystery sign by the mens and ladies toilet, but it doesn't lead anywhere. It has the broad shoulders of a man, rather than the slope of the ladies sign.  It was situated next to a fire exit, but it wasn't directly above a door of any sort.

Anyone seen anything like it before?

Given the rural surroundings - I think it is a spoonerism  ;D

Seen next to the air machine at the petrol station halfway down Reigate Hill.

You can just see 50p written in the gap, although in real life, it wasn't clear at all.
