Assuming you mean the wetlands centre (you can't be reckless enough to mean the person :o ) - When were you thinking of going?

Bumping this a little, and fleshing it out. My plan will be to set off by train via Clapham to Barnes (no, not dear Charlotte) on Sunday morning, spend the day rambling about, and then head off for Horsham and my folk club, where it is a song and dance night--i.e. ceilidh and floor spots. I will post elsewhere on that bit.

What sort of time do you expect to be getting to Barnes?  We want to ride up & meet you. :)

Now, that was nice. A lovely sunny day, plenty of things to see and hear (including blackcaps and two Cetti's warblers) and people to lecture about the birds. Yay!

That was good fun.  Saw lots of interesting birds.  Including several we would have missed or not stood a chance of identifying without TT's help.  Especially the birdsong.

Nice ride up.  And we rode back offroad (mainly) - down the Thames and up the Wandle :)

Once more I offer this up. There seems to be a reasonable crop of warblers about, and it is a nice place for an amble with excellent bike parking. Anyone else up for an amble some time?

Might be up for it, depending on the day. It's a nice cycle for the MacFamily.

Edit - although I've just realised our childseat-carrying bike is not in London  :(

If it is fine tomorrow (Saturday) I may be up for it
