When you say its 16cm long, where are you measuring from, is that total length? I've got two, and the smaller one I was convinced was called an action, but is 250mm long from feet to top of platform. It too has 9 sections like the picture (ah, this doesn't help, the bigger one has 9 (bigger) sections, too!)
Obviously the range has changed since I bought mine in early 2012, but at that time, I was sure the even smaller ones didn't have a removable QR tripod screw piece. I've just had a scroll through the Gorillapod website and its all changed!
All I can say is that I think you have the right item, but can't be sure. Not very helpful, sorry!
My smaller one did very well on our tour of NZ, holding my Sony A55 in some improbable locations, including hanging off railings and the like.
