Visitations like that are something of a relief, because at least you're sure what caused the deflation and that you've got rid of it.

Once, whilst on my Honda 650, I was following a much larger bike (1000 / 1200cc) which had a six inch nail entered through the tread, and exited through the sidewall of the rear tyre.
I wasn't able to match their speed to let them know.

Indeed it is, and yes I did. But regrettably useless. (kept as a souvenir tho)
