Definitely Limehouse! I spent many hours in there at Tower Hamlets Wheelers bike workshops.

Someone said "Morning" to me today, in a very 'hello person I know' manner, but I have no idea who it was. Here's a slowed down and cropped video from my camera. Does anyone recognise him? Unfortunately,a helmet and dark glasses doesn't help!

This was on Cavendish Road, just after I came off of Tooting Bec Common, and he was going towards it. I was wearing a YACF King-of-the-Mountains jersey, in my normal ironic manner for an utterly flat commute across London!

     Who? on YouTube
Actually, it is rocket science.

Russell (and the lovely R) are camped next to us. JoeB is just up the field with V and Little Joe. Tandem Club rally, innit.

That Wobbly John, I reckon, pulling out in front of me in Littleport on a trusty old steed with a trailer.

Anyway, whoever it was I think they spotted my LEL volunteer's jersey and gave a cheery wave

Yes, that was me. Trailer was for carrying stuff to and from the allotment - it's used about every other day at the moment - fairly empty on that occasion as daughter had picked grandsons up early and called at the allotment to pick up some of the harvest in her car.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

Not sure if I spotted forumites last week, but it was super nice to get to ferry at Calais last week and meet three ACME members from Kent while me and my family were on our way home from our summer tour.

Just got back home today, the wheel did the job.

Fairlight went under the radar and performed perfectly as usual. I followed a part of four roadies from Earith to Haddenham, catching them on the flat, expecting them to smoke me on the climb with my load. Complete opposite, I trundled up, they seemed to fold, youth of today!

;D. I've had that happen.  Birmingham to Llandysul.  Set off at midnight. At 6 pm I find myself amongst a sportif between Llandovery and Lampeter.  Had to sort of wave apologetically as I passed, fully laden, groups on those long climbs. :smug:
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.
