Someone has found a useful way to fill their lockdown time.  All the Peel Sessions, in alphabetical order, for your listening pleasure:

I don't know what the copyright status is on these.

The Snivelling Shits (1978) and Period Pains (1997) failed to achieve stardom, it would seem.

That’s amazing. Where has he got hold of them all from?

Note to self: make sure I'm not missing any Half Man Half Biscuit ones before The Man makes him take them down.

Edit: No, I'm not.  He lists four, I've got twelve.

The Snivelling Shits edited their name to become The Hits.  And yet still failed to rival The Rolling Stones, AC/DC or U2 in the charts.

Still definitely a good few missing from the list but a great list.
Sudden Sway did two sessions that aren't on there. They were as "interesting" as their concept album/board game "Spacemate" which unfortunately has never seen a digital re-release.

The info is already out there on the BBC.

Eg:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/johnpeel/sessions/1980s/1989/

It seems the list on that blog is of Peel sessions on Youtube. It's nowhere near every Peel session ever done.

As for searching, maybe:
