Strade Bianche 24
« on: 28 February, 2024, 04:44:40 pm »
Spot of gravel on Sat 2 Mar.  See that Tom Pidcock is riding again, along with G, & Tadej.   Also DemiV, MV, & LotteK too.

Should be good.

edit.

Mens race: 214km ~4000m elevation.  A tad lumpy.

Been out on the bike for a couple of hours.

Just back in time for the Strade Bianche which I'd forgotten about, so thanks for the nudge!

That was sneaky,   he leaked it to the press that he was going on the break at 80km, then took off at 81 km before the other riders were ready.
Thats just not cricket.

often lost.

The last rider I can remember announcing to everyone that he was going to attack on a specific climb, then doing that and soloing off into the distance (in a significant classic at that) was Frank Vandenbrooke at Liege. I hope I've just not been paying attention and it happens all the time.
