BOA Laces on cycling shoes

Replaced the BOA laces on my Specialized shoes tonight as they had kinks in the wire laces.

For those of you with this type of system it might be useful to know that BOA offers free no-quibble replacements. Took me 5 minutes to fill form, and laces arrived 4 days later from US.

My left lace snapped around Christmas. They sent me two laces for replacement for free.  Using winter boots but will get round to fitting new laces soon to my summer shoes.

The ratchet on my left Boa shoe broke after about one week's use. The laces themselves seem in good condition a few years on, but actually they've never released well.

Looking at the kit, in the semi transparent bag, it includes the ratchet bit as well

Yes. I have a spare (somewhere...) that they gave me when they repaired the other. Not sure I'd know how to fit it though.
