So after reinstalling Win10 on my desktop I had to then reinstall all my applications but it seems that it's now not possible to reinstall CS2. I know the activation servers been down for some time (ever since well before the last time I had to reinstall) but you could just ignore the start up pop ups. The installer doesn't recognise my serial code and yet the Adobe product registration page won't let me register it because that code is already in use!!!
It seems this complete borking happened in recent weeks. I wonder if the app still works on my laptop?
Somewhere I have a cracked copy of CS6 I picked up from China for my brother, I may have to try that.
