Hello mcshroom! Do you like cake?
Can I sign up for this please. I've not booked it with the boss yet, but I enjoyed Friday night's ride to Scarborough so much that I'm definitely coming.Explaining it may be a little difficult - non cyclists don't seem to understand the idea of night rides. However, as my son put it to his mother before the York - Scarborough night ride: "It's OK, Mum - no way can Dad be having an affair. If he was - he'd never dream up an excuse that weird... its just got to be true"
i've put it on the calendar in black ink.
Oh, dear, it seems I can't make this ride. I was looking forward to wearing makeup on the bike. Something I never do, because by the end of the ride I look like the Bride of Dracula. It would've been perfect.Have a fantastic night, all, and see some of you on the December 11th ride.

I'm going to list some possible routes to Whitby. There isn't really a way of avoiding hills, although avoiding the Howardian hills might be a good idea. Route 1 - simplest, using the A169http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/York-to-Whitby-A169
