Camping, mate.  Travelling light.  Remember the Cranes sawed off the handles of their toothbrushes?

Oh, of course - I forgot how heavy sponges are.

Is that an impressively round, and yet slightly nutty looking cow pat it's nestling against?

This is in the wrong board for the distinctly NSFW thing I saw in the hedge on my ride yesterday.

Nope.  Did you lose one somewhere?  ;D  :demon:

Description of said very NSFW item follows (in spoiler tags)

(click to show/hide)

Although I did take a picture, I'm not linking it here (even on NSFW) since I can't at the moment think of anywhere I could upload it to link to it from here without potentially accidentally having it show up in internet searches for me.

Riding LEJOG a couple of years ago I was amazed at the number of "industrial gloves" (like builders etc use) at the roadside ... the really annoying thing was that I saw a brand new left hand glove that looked my size near Penzance - and then saw a matching right hand glove when we got near Fort William ... if only I'd picked up the first one ;D

... recent finds have been some long-handled metric Allen keys and a couple of 9 and 10mm spanners.

I was out a couple of weeks ago and the rider beside me remarked at seeing yet another lone discarded trainer in the road. I told him that whenever I see one like that, 9 times out of 10 its counterpart can be found a couple of hundred metres later... sure enough, there it was!

Well not exactly! but I was very lucky!.
sat morn went out for an 80-100k circular, but after 20k got p*$$ed off with the heavy rain, so turned round.  When I left the house I had these Lusso arm warmers on, then took them off after 10k and strapped on the back. Any way got home after 40k, and NO!! one had fallen off. SO as it had brightened up, i retraced my route out, and couldn't find it, so returned home BUT 1/2 way home there it was, on a wet dark bit of asphalt, at a wide T junction, and it was only really the blue lable that caught my eye, as I wasn't looking anymore. DOH.  So ended up doing 80k anyway.  I really like these, got them from Gordy I think, one of my Fave bits of kit.

Still working and unlocked, so I looked at the contacts and it had a number for 'mum'. T'was a local number, but wasn't sure how local to my locality, as I wasn't local??, any way stuffed it in my pocket. and then a few miles up the road, dropped it in to Kemsing Library, and let them deal with it. Conscience clear I carried on.
