One of our local riders - crashed at Scarborough. Gets up to finish. In the ambulance says to his dad "You drove me 5 hours to get here. No way I wasn't going to finish"

Really nice lad - pitches in with the big boys on our winter velodrome chain gangs and is a currnet Scottish (maybe british) record holder at 500m.

Given that it was a five hour drive for him and his dad to get to Scab, and given that he's one of DM's locals, I doubt that he rides for the Paragon!
