Title: Resurrecting the tandem
Post by: The Family Cyclist on 29 May, 2018, 08:09:22 pm
So yesterday had a bit more time round my brother's to look at the tandem property. Wins are the shifters work...the cables are mullered.

Less win the tyres are on cords on sidewalls. Ill probably stick with back wheel but have an old hope front wheel with Mavic D something rims so tough old hoops. I'll probably put this on. Do tyres need to be anything special. Has a set of 3" tyres on but kinda waffle/BMX tread pattern so don't actually look that wide. I have a 26 X 1.5 set of slicks or a 2.1 and 2.3 knobbies spare.

Thanks
