Title: Have a strong suspicion that I've developed some hamstring tendonitis
Post by: Oxford_Guy on 10 June, 2019, 07:59:27 pm
I've got a strong suspicion that I've developed some hamstring tendonitis (pain in the back of my leg above and behind my left knee) that I think I've noticed gradually getting worse over the last few months, but definitely much more so in the last few weeks. I'm seeing a sports physio next week (actually for a different problem originally...), so will obviously mention this, but what could have caused this, what exercises help, and how do I try to prevent this happening again in the future?

I've read that having the saddle too high can aggravate, but think mine is actually too low at the moment (seatpost is stuck!). I am doing spinning classes once a week, though, which perhaps are putting too much strain on things?

Someone who knows what they are talking about will be along in a while, I believe that both too high and too low can aggravate joint issues.
