Removing waypoints etrex hcx

After wailing and gnashing of teech thought I would ask you lot. How do I get rid of them? Thank you.

From a route, or just getting all your old waypoints off the device? Or removing a specific one?

I have entered a number inadvertantly from the 'Mark' menu. I cant find any way to get rid of them.

Main menu > Find > Waypoints. That will list all of the waypoints, sorted by name or nearest.
Pick one from the list, then it gives you the waypoint details, with an option to delete.
