A new back wheel for the Domane.  I can still see the wear telltale, though.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

Finally got round to treating myself to some Ortlieb panniers - found some at about £25 less than all the mainstream suppliers - a Dutch outfit I'd not come across before, Mantel .... and no delivery charge either.

Rob

PS : Watch this space (well the Sale section) for a number of luggage items incl 3 pairs of excellent condition panniers and several Carradice bags of varying sorts.

Have failed today, with silly amounts of stuff bought to replace worn-out stuff before next season's planned rides.
Wheel meet again, don't know where, don't know when...

This torque wrench. I don't need it (I already have a torque wrench), but I like the look
of it.

Aaargh! - obviously the excitement got to me - what I DID NOT buy was the matching Ortlieb barbag.

It's only a matter of time...
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

Unlikely - I thought it was ugly, and hey I've already got two Altura barbags.

Not purchased list grows:-

1. Pinnacle Neon 1 (new commuter/hack bike)
2. Altura Dryline 2 56L panniers (my current ones are falling apart and on their 3rd tactical application of duck tape).

Ooh.  Having had a quick look at the site, that's one of several things I haven't bought.

I haven't bought a Carradice Super C. I will make do with my barley and my cheapo frame bag for my trip to France next month instead, I won't be needing to pack much. It would be nice though...

One of them there PlanetX £500 1x11-spd bikes coz a) light alloy frame, which ain't necessarily bad in itself but at that price... b) looming Brexit implies customs sadism and c) we need a new hob.

The things look like fun, though. Not the hobs, the other.

Currently resisting the urge to buy these:

Seriously, I really hope this trend for shiny purple stuff goes away soon. My bank balance can't really cope any longer. :-X
