Does anyone have a gpx of either the 300 or 200 routes? Still undecided which to do... left it rather last-minute!

After 6pm. Still at work doing emergency stuff... Might have to be here over the weekend too. Bah.

Weather forecasts for this area overnight & Saturday to late afternoon are not good (rain & more rain, & Met Office weather warning for rain) - hope you campers can sleep through it.

If I don't get to see anyone there, hope you have a great time.

If we aren't riding on Saturday, I'll probably get some jobs done in the morning and ride over in the afternoon, returning on Sunday if we are riding.

Perhaps I'll be back on Monday with the Wobblebike/Spincycle
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

Thanks for the text Wow to this effect but I'm not coming to Mildenhall this year.

I am, instead, attending a party dressed in a cancan dancer's outfit.

There is a forum quorum here atm. We are acutely aware of the forthcoming weather.

Bed-time bog visit. There seems to be an open invitation to eat bacon at Canardly's tent in the morning.

Usual form.  I remember Canardly on duty, feeding bacon to the masses at Long Itchington.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

We're finally settled in our somewhat palatial tent, in prime position for the bacon in the morning. I'm knackered after a day of driving - those van things are surprisingly hard to pedal!

I see the latest forecast mentions hail in the morning. Nice.

Loo o'clock. Everything's still dry...

Oh, looks like the weather forecast has been recalculated to account for the presence of my rainlegs.

Just back from the bogs. It started raining when I was enthroned. There is a man out the who started selling burgers before 6am.

It's been a couple of years that you've been doing Pilates, why have you taken so long to say hello?  ;D

We're in the traditional YACF corner of the hall, having fed barakta her usual breakfast of tea and codeine. Everyone else seems to have vanished, though.

Ok, executive decision. Ride will be on Sunday.

I will attempt to get to work early-ish tomorrow and get across to Mildenhall from Downham Market. That could be a 100+ mile day; better have porridge & make some cake.

Have retired to the pub, leaving card stamping duties on the 100km audax to boab and boablets.

Barakta and I have made use of the showers.  We remembered to bring waterproof clothing and mobile phones this time, but the rain never became anything more than a moderate drizzle.

"At least it's not like school PE" she said. I pointed out that it was exactly like school PE, and offered to find someone to spray deodorant in her face for the full effect.
