Title: Hill Climb
Post by: pcolbeck on 16 February, 2018, 03:17:25 pm
One for the Yorkies. This is from the York Past and Present Facebook group.

1907 hill climb up Garrowby. Apparently the guy riding and named on the photo was a member of Clifton CTC and a bit of a hill climbing legend.

A slightly different hill climb. One of our club members decided to raise some money for charity by cycling the height of Everest up Dundee Law. 136 ascents starting at 5am and finishing about 11.45. One of the more atmospheric pics..

Atmospheric - but not very hilly!

(A great effort by the rider)
