I suspected as much; used to turn off up Churchgate Street on the way to the Gulag.

We saw a couple of bright lights on Farleton Knott last night as we came past on the M6 at about 6pm. Wasn't you was it Bill?

Wot, Abbey Gardens, as in Bury St Edmunds?  Never been there before, but was there at the weekend, and took a quick stroll around the gardens on Friday afternoon, as the sun was getting very low.  Cathedral's nice!

Erm you will find that there aren't 12, I think the count is 9. Some of them got tired and went to sleep or walked way.

It look jolly good at sunset I must say, day time a little more boring. Did she go on a helicopter ride there, they kept buzzing above us when we were there.

The outback around Ayres rock (kata tjuta, to be precise) looking away from the rocks (you don't say!)

And looking towards the rocks

These are from the point & shoot, so overcompensentated in automatic mode to try to get it feeling like it looks. Will have a go at  processing some from the OMD raw files in a bit.

Rotterdam? That's a city that often looks good when you are looking in the opposite direction ;)

(I  still remember the defining feature of Rotterdam from the first time I visited (in the 80's) - signs on lamp posts all over showing the distance to the nearest McDonald's, "200m this way-> 150m that way <--" )

Rotterdam? No - Felixstowe - The clue was under the photo!

I know what you mean about the signs to MaccyD's. I'm guessing you are thinking of the shop outside the town hall in Coolsingle that looks like it has been dropped in from the sky.
