When the son picked up the bit of glass I knew he was on his way to talk to Harry. And when Ruth was there I just knew that she would be the one. Why didn't the "spy" standing next to the him figure that one out?

Harry visits an area in Thames House honouring all the officers who were killed in the service. The episode ends with Harry answering the phone in his office, having decided to stay in the service.

Brilliant episode, have to try and watch again at 11.05 tonight. Probably won't turn out any different, though.

Yeah, we knew that. The Home Secretary was on the phone to Harry when Harry was in the car, and he said something like "Harry, you said you've outsourced dealing with [that Russian bloke with the beard] to an outside agency so you'd better give me the details, on second thoughts, never mind." So that person was the outside agency.

I reckon Shakespeare, Le Carre and Hardy would all have been quite pleased with writing that.
