Playing in the garden with my new 105mm macro lens - these are handheld.

Wolf Spider with egg sac

Honey Bee on clover

It also makes a good portrait lens - my border terriers

that bee looks fantastic!

did my smallest ever wedding yesterday, just bride, groom and 2 friends - who were all a fantastic laugh...

They were at a local hotel in a tiny summerhouse with small windows and a thick hedge round 3/4 of it, so photos were a bit hit & miss, but here's one that worked:

More Gastown back alleyways:

Loving my new camera. Easily fits into my bag, although it might be a bit more tricky once I need to bring a change of clothes...

An interesting wheelchair adaption spotted on Lindisfarne. Very nice chap - it wasa commercial mod, and the motorised front part is completely removable. The company that did it is now bust.

I joked that he was missing the leather and 'Hell's Angel' denim :)

I took my Samyang 85mm f1.4 lens out for a wander round the vegetable patch.  No, this is not fake tilt-shift!

The sun had gone in.  1/2CTO over one of my Quadra heads jacked up on that baby and we don't need no stinkin' sunshine!

After wandering around Arnside Tower this morning, I came back home and found this wee chap on the buddleia:

Taken at the long end of a tele-zoom with an Olympus screw-in macro converter.

I really quite like this. The perspective rocks. Although I really like how the lady in the centre is posed, is there an alternative where they are looking straight past the camera?
