We are certainly looking to get another one,

Probably doing some test rides in the  new year with Mary and the boy to see which works best for her.

The Ono looks as if it has gone beyond cargo bike to "two-wheeled van".

Cargoroo are now available in Manchester. I used one of their bikes in Amsterdam recently, it was great fun. Highly recommend.

We sold out Christiana Trike but have gone with a e-assist longtail.  I think that once you start getting more people thinking 8-freights and logtails they will catch on faster.  Locally we have 3 Terns and then two cargo bikes, which is a decent return for Mordor.

I’m loving my Douze, acquired a few weeks ago. Replacing a car, and so much fun. Currently running it using leg power alone, but could be tempted to add a motor in a few years, when the novelty of cycling uphill fully loaded fades.

I wish I'd known about them when my youngest was very young as would have probably gone cargo rather then trailer although the price is certainly now and probably was then prohibitive. Had to ebay some stuff to buy the trailer

Having used both, I liked the trailer better.

Well I’ve pulled the trigger and have ordered an E bike.

There’s now a Radrunner plus on its way to me from Holland. It’s one of those E utility bikes/mini cargo bikes.

I have to do school pick up, and I’m constantly running late, so the days I’m in the office I’m having to do bike sprints down Holland Park avenue to pick my daughter up in time. Then there is also the fact that 3 of my projects are round Hampstead, and the commute from Shepherd’s Bush to Hampstead on my Dutch bike kills me. I think my clients would enjoy seeing me just once not drenched in sweat.
It’s the school holidays in a couple of weeks, and my wife has signed up my daughter for summer camps all over West London, so I will have to cycle to drop her off (Chiswick, South Ken or Ealing!) before heading into the office or first meeting of the day, and then later pick her up by bike in the evening and take her home.

My daughter is now 16kg, my pannier is always about 5kg, and I realised that I need help, so an E bike it is.

I’ve ordered one that should be low enough for the wife to ride,so she if she takes to it, there’s a chance we could become a 2 E bike family.

My commute bike I lock up in a bike hangar (a council initiative where they turn 1 parking space into lockable bike storage for 5 bikes). I intend to lock the E bike up there, however the bike has 3.3 inch wide tires, that won’t actually fit in the wheel holder, so that’s something I’ve got to figure out.

I've still got my yuba cargo bike, but I don't have the space to keep it in London. I might shove a bafang into it and give it to my sister in law.

You want a kickstand to hold the bike up while you load it with children, which you can use to park up.
You want a super decent lock, on the plus side the E-assist will compensate.

Gerald could you feed back on the service you receive and your views on the bike in due course?
