My most embarrassing clip-less moment ever

I have had a few and some of them dangerous like when I started to slide down a bank into a canal headfirst with the bike still attached, only my mate grabbing the wheel stopped me going into the canal.

Today was really cringe worthy.

I was riding down the main road and traffic was stopped because of two cars turning right, I thought I would creep by on the inside although it was tight, as i crept past the end car I lost my balance slightly, I tried to gently put my elbow on the passenger window to help myself regain balance. 

The trouble was the passenger window was wide open and the male passenger was resting his elbow on the door.  I ended up with my head and arm inside the car, but managing to keep my bike away from the paintwork.  I apologised, saying that I couldn't release my cleats from the pedals in time, he wasn't in the least put out and told me that everything was OK - his female companion who was driving just gave me an odd look and said nothing.

It was a real Del Boy moment. :-[ :-[
