We did it! It might not have gone exactly as we planned but then that's what adventures are all about aren't they?

Many thanks to the members of this forum who generously helped us out along the way and encouraged us.

Oh! Excellent!

The last time I encountered your blog you were suffering a massive lack of mojo around, IIRC, Brighton (Riggers? Anything to do with you?!). Brilliant news to hear you successfully completed the rest of your amazing challenge!

Wow. Bloody amazing. And what a good read! the 'How do I feel' bit at the end had me in tears, just imagining it. Well done and thank you.

Very good. I really enjoy your understated style!

I too really liked the "How do I feel?" section because I think you've answered a question that I couldn't after LEJoG. Why didn't it seem more like a triumph? I think you have summed it up very well. It doesn't feel "special" at the time, but I dip into our blog every so often and I'm right back there. Writing it has enabled me to remember every detail.

I instantly recognised the Mull West Coast photo, near Ben More. I was a bit disappointed that Jan didn't, but she was suffering major histamine reaction after her midge attack two or three days previously so probably wasn't functioning properly. It is a major regret that we are not going to do any more cycle camping together. We'll have to use B & Bs instead!

Thank you all for the positive feedback, it really is appreciated. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed writing the blog even though there were times during the ride that it was a bit of a chore because of limited connectivity. My challenge now is to live a life that is worth blogging about! That's the really hard bit.
