I did a 200 last weekend, the first 75km from Aberdeen to Pennan was straight into a northerly wind  :-X

Stornoway to Barvas and Leurbost to Stornoway were 'busy' (Lewis rush hour) but on the west side there is hardly any traffic - a car probably passes every 3-5 minutes   :thumbsup:

I planned it so the first 50km and last 40 km were into the wind, a long tail wind stretch in the middle.  :)

If I'd have gone to Leverburgh I'd have had a 100km homeward slog  head wind all the way.  :-\

wind was about 20 mph NE, but rose to over 30 mph for the last 10 - 15 km  :(
