First public utterance from Chris Coleman, this week's Sunderland manager:-

I love the last sentence, especially with respect to the first one!

If he'd used 'going forward' in the same interview it would surely qualify for inclusion in Private Eye.

Unfortunately for Sunderland supporters the only direction of travel appears to be downwards.

My Pal Terry Who Art In Sibton informed me the other day that Sunderland's unbroken run has come to an end. They finally won a game at home, 364 days after winning the previous one. How frustrating is that?
