Well, to Long itch anyway.
Kajsa has agreed to present her ayearinthesaddle talk at Long Itch on the evening of 6th May. There will be a ticket fee I'm afraid. We have use of the back room at The Green Man.
We went to see Kajsa in Nottingham last saturday (11th March) and her talk is excellent, relaxed and funny in parts (as you'd expect from Kajsa). She is great at the Q&A too and this took longer than the actual talk.
More details will be forthcoming but I would appreciate it if folk might indicate if hey intend to be there for Kajsa's talk whether they are camping or not.
So, who is interested please?
-
One here....
-
Hmmm. I was hoping for more interest to be honest. Oh well
-
Two here...
-
One of us will. Probably the other one.
-
Good oh.
I'll start pushing this heavily after I get back from Scotland. We're hoping to shift 50 seats.
-
Count I in for this please.
-
May I check what time it kicks off please?
-
7:30 p.m. The slideshow accompanied talk lasts about 45 minutes, take a break, Q&A.
The ticket price is likely to be £5 which is a total bargain imo.
I'm working on persuading Kajsa to join us earlier in the day for the ride and supper in the field.
-
One of us will. Probably the other one.
Probably this one. Maybe the other one.
And do persuade her to join us! She is delightful company.
Do we get Tina & Bumble as part of the package?
-
I hope so and I'll be asking for all three. Bumble wasn't at the last place but it was a commercial cafe venue but dogs in pubs is usually acceptable. No?
-
BUMP.
This event is open to anybody whether you are camping at Long itch or just wish to drop in for the evening.
-
Another BUMP.
-
I am intending to be there.
-
Thrice BUMP!
-
Et moi.
-
There is still space for anybody wanting to make last minute plans. Starts 19:30 in the back room of The Green Man, Long Itchington.
-
Well, that was worth the effort. Everybidy who attended seemed to enjoy it and Kajsa answered questions for well over an hour.
Inspirational.
-
Kajsa was Kajsa, which is always good value. :)
