Cheap(er) Alternative for Brompton Luggage

Looking for a bag for the front of my Brompton but rather baulking at the prices of a C bag. Any cheaper alternatives out there?

Cheapest approach is to buy a Brompton bag frame (about £20, there are two sizes, the larger of which won't play nicely with the brake cables on a S-type without a handlectomy) and devise a way to mate it with some convenient bag you happen to have.

If you acquire a supermarket advertising vinyl banner or similar from a skip it should be excellent material for free. You also have the option of making it bigger than even the black-hole of a T-bag...
