It was Sarah's first time organising the event and it all ran like clockwork.  The two events (100 and 200) attracted over 350 riders in total.

I did the 100. The last 38-40km was right into the wind. It was great fun and I thought Sarah did very well, although as a newbie to Audax I would have liked the route sheet to have shown the breakdown of distances.

Heard my first spring chiff chaff (several).

If anyone has a yearning to attempt the Crowcombe climb to Dead Woman's Ditch from the other side, the Combwich Century is on the 17th 16th April.*
