Somerset House & bicycles
« on: 28 March, 2017, 02:32:42 pm »
I may be going to a KCL lecture at Somerset House East Wing this evening.  According to the Somerset House website there is bicycle parking on The Strand and Victoria Embankment.  I can't say I'm overly thrilled with either option (I'd be on my Hewitt).

Any difference between the two?  Should I find other means to get myself there?  Or am I just being paranoid?

As you go in to somerset house, through the arch way from the strand if you go through on the right through another arch there is cycle parking there.

I don't usually 'let' partner park Nice Bike anywhere outdoors in Central London.
Maybe I'm also paranoid.
Or cynical.
Or unhelpful...

I'd use a Santander bike in such circs, unless the parking is really spiffy.
There are two ways you can get exercise out of a bicycle: you can
"overhaul" it, or you can ride it.  (Jerome K Jerome)

...unless taking a Brommie in with you is an option.
