Any steam model makers out there? Need a small length of pipe.

Wondering if there are any modelers out there, as Im after a short length of pipe to repair a steam cleaner.  Circa 2cm, 20mm.

Do you mean 20mm diameter?  ID or OD? I can't remember the actual diameter of 22mm plumbing pipe, and as I'm currently sat in  bed in a rented cottage 200 miles from home, I don't have any references with me! I'm only likely t have smaller stuff for piping, or larger stuff for boiler barrels in stock, and possibly a bit of secondhand 22mm, but can't be sure from this distance. 
Model engineering suppliers such as Blackgates engineering do sell in short lengths, but there is precious little obvious logic in the range of sizes available.

Have you had a look on eBay?  I've just bought an 8"by 1/2 length of ally tube I needed for a model aeroplane - only £3 IIRC.  There seemed to be numerous vendors and a wide range of materials and metric and imperial sizes.

Sorry I wasn't clear at the most I need 2cm long, not wide.

I know not of these things.  Last time I bought some pipe for carb pipe replacement.





This is a nozzle on a steam cleaner, looking to glue the pipe back together with a brass joiner to protect the glued area.

The inner diameter is 4mm.

You should be able to find a local supplier - they are common in model shops in the UK but they are a US manufacturer - widely available.  They will have something that will do the job.

Ended up modifying an old presta valve.

The steamer is fixed and not leaking anymore.
