I don't know what my heart-rate is but, since doing long Audaxes for last 3 years, I find that I get very dizzy if I stand up quickly.  Sometimes to the point of needing to grab a doorframe.

I've heard that this can be attributed to increased fitness and lowered resting heart-rate but it's a bit worrying sometimes.

I've got that too.

Yup, blood pools when you sit, suddenly stand and brain says woah, slow heartbeat and you have to wait a sec for the next beat to redistribute everything, can't remember where I read it, but I'm sure it was somewhere reputable.

IIRC Miguel Indurain's was famously about 34 beats per minute.

That's diet related isn't it ?
I bet they go away if you flush twice.
