Swine Flu

On Friday he son of my boss was diagnosed with swine flu. My boss will spend all weekend with son.

Would it be unreasonable to expect boss to work from home this week?

That would be the policy at the firm I work for, particularly if working from home is an available option.

I got it!  :( Don't think it can be passed on over the internet so you should be safe.

Caught it from my son's girlfriend last Wednesday. She works in Torbay Hospital, and has been confirmed today. It came on very suddenly on Friday and I thought I had a cold but I got in touch with the helpline and they say I have it and should not mix with others until at least Wednesday but Thursday to be absolutely certain not to pass it on.

I am not sure how I will get to Mildenhall but I will be there at some time on Friday.

Hmm. I'm wondering if I have the early stages of it. Symptoms:

Voice gradually getting more frog-like throughout the day.
Sore throat.
Headache.
Hot and cold shivers.
Body aches.

Off to bed with me, I think.
