That sounds like somewhere between Hobbiton and Rivendell.

I'd have expected a 'Buy One Get One Free' offer on bridges carrying the railway over NCN1 at Portlethen.

On the way to the pic above there was a view of both of them and I thought I should photograph both of them. I should've done it that moment  ::-)

An old but restored bridge in Bath.

A brand new bridge in Bath.

Ketton Hall Bridge - slightly unsympathetic refurbishment, I reckon, but times are tight.

Lower Hodder - Not sure I'd try crossing it these days...
I'd offer you some moral support - but I have questionable morals.

I'm a bit behind with this thread, but I do love that bridge.  :)

The lovely Neasham Hall Bridge:

Shame it's private. And no, I wasn't chucking my bike over that gate...

Neasham Hall Drive on the sharp bend in Eryholme Lane?  I think your nearest way might be via Croft and Dalton - but I may have got the wrong one.

Lower Hodder - Not sure I'd try crossing it these days...

Known as Cromwell's Bridge.  His army crossed it to the bashing at Preston.  Hence, it's one of the bridges that Cromwell knocked about a bit.  People were thinner in those days - or at least lighter when he'd finished with them.

I think it's on the Red Rose 200 at Great Mitton but it's surprisingly easy to miss as the current bridge requires plenty of concentration.
