Totally understand that PB.  We're in for Long Itch but couldn't commit to a tour, also for work reasons, although less dramatic fortunately!

I'm very disappointed about the tour myself.   I must find some time to sort out rounding up support for the camping weekend and for the Kajsa talk.

I know it's officially 'four weeks' but I don't think it's too soon for a roll call . . .

I could do with knowing numbers for food on Saturday.

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

Let me start a specific May 2017 thread Tors.   It will be in place shortly.

Could somebody remind me of the exact location etc for the Suffolk camping weekend?

I don't think that it's happening Cudzo.   Sorry.

I have a rather involved case which is going to court on the week that we were going to tour from Long Itch.   I don't think anybody has taken up the baton for that or the subsequent Suffolk weekend.

Perhaps next year with much better planning on my part?

I read about your court case – hope it goes alright. I thought the Suffolk thing was being organised by Julian though? Anyways, if it's not on, I'll look forward to seeing you all in September.

If we ever get the builders out of here I may just organise a Cambridgeshire camping week end with a couple of local rides thrown in. Not Suffolk but on the train line and nice countryside before they concrete it over, and with some interesting history. Local C and C riverside camp site is very good and possibly the back garden, we will see.

We'll look forward to it Canardly.

I've been looking at the ride for Long Itch.   It's a bit front heavy so I'm going to do a Sustrans on you all after lunch and take you the weaving way back!    :D
