Anyone going to watch tomorrow (Wednesday)?
I think I'm aiming for Ainderby Steeple - via the tearoom at Kiplin Hall

That Chloe seems to be a very good cyclist... so good she smashed the Dutch by a huge margin! Uh huh!

Yep. Probably somewhere just before the finish, maybe in the fanzone later.

Many will have seen the clip of young Antonio Tiberi starting the junior men's TT with a loose crank and having to swap bikes before his team car had started. What the clip didn't show was the Keystone Kops performance by his mechanic and driver after he'd left. First of all the driver tried to leave before the (loose-cranked) bike had been secured to the roof rack, and then started off without the mechanic. I was just across the road from the incident (and from the Coach and Horses where some VC167s had taken residence).

We stayed in and watched the U-23 men TT on TV, then went out and watched the  elite women's TT about 3 km from the finish.

Italian men's trio in the mixed TTT relay, Elia Viviani leading:

Well that was fun.   I was about 50 yards from the finish line for the TT, just in front of the big screen.

Will Roglic get referred to the Yorkshire DC for drafting Dennis I wonder?

As planned, got to Ainderby Steeple about 5 mins before the first riders.  Warm welcome from residents, who sat me down in one of the chairs they had put out, and offered tea and biscuits! Enjoyed the whole day out - world class racing close to home.

Watched today's U23, crash, dislocated shoulder, broken bike, catch up from way back, win, disqualified  !!!

Looking forward to watching tomorrows race.

Will see it live from our doorstep on Sunday.

I can't get over that we have had World Champ, TdF, TdY and TdB coming right through our town in the last 6 years.

It's good Yorkshire weather, just to confirm the world's general impression of Britain as a dull wet country.

Yeah what a race yesterday and what win, and Roger if you watched the sun was out all day :)

Though that said, today they are trimming 40km around Buttertubs because of sky water.

We had a nice day out in Harrogate. The 'Fan Zone' was a bit wet underfoot, but there was a great atmosphere on Parliament Street, with lots of orange-clad fans, and one of the hotels taken over by the Nederlands Lottery. It's hard to imagine how it could have been improved, and it's a real pity that it wasn't staged last week, when the weather was superb.
I'm counting Annemiek van Vleuten's ride as a win for Lancashire, following her training with the Yates brothers.

Elite men's race shortened today due to flooding.

Edit: Not shortened, route altered

What the fuck are they using to refuel the relay plane? A turkey baster?

This will ensure the world championships will never come to England again!

could not really understand why they didnt refuel at Leeds Bradford, I know its a busier airport, but it is much nearer to the race so would have been a shorter gap in the transmission

Nice weather the day before, and nice weather the day after until about 5pm.  They really did get unlucky.
