Is it worth me entering
« on: 28 February, 2019, 09:47:23 am »
I did PBP 2007 and 2015 . I am just an occasional Audax person. I just did one Audax last year . The Cumbrian 200 from Troutbeck Bridge.

I had mentally written off doing PBP this year , but then I saw some more places have become available. I have not registered and I do not think my 200 from last year counts as a prequalifier or whatever they are called. I know many on here are very upto date on the entry mechanism and situation. Could somebody advise my chance of qualifying this year with the current situation , as if it is low I would prefer to spend my efforts on other cycling projects. Thanks in anticiapation

It is a pre-qualifier:

You can enter a week on Sunday. There are going to be maybe a thousand places left, although perhaps. It for long.

You can pre-register from 2300GMT on Sunday 10 March. There are going to be maybe a thousand places left, although perhaps, not for long.

I apologise for trying to be helpful. I’ll refrain from doing so in future.
