The Mrs has graciously consented to me getting an Edge 705 for Christmas  :thumbsup:

Just in case my Google-Fu has missed something, where's the best place to but one?  I don't fancy paying the £378 Wiggle are asking.

Have a look over at Ribble. That is where I got mine. It was cheaper tgan anywhere other online retailers that I trust. They were one of the few that had any in stock at the time.

Just bought my Oregon 300 from Handtec which was almost £100 cheaper than other online sites. I had a look and they do the Edge 705 but I'm not sure of the current prices elsewhere. Buy Sat Nav TomTom Garmin HTC PDA Tom Tom GPS Cheap - Reviews. I had to pay postage but their price for the mount for the bike was also very competitive.

I bought a Garmin from them about a month ago, ordered 4.30pm, delivered next morning, no complaints.

Make sure you're comparing like with like when checking prices.

E.g. There are two usual UK packages around
010-00555-21:  705 + HRM (base)
010-00555-31:  705 + HRM + Speed/Cadence Sensor (+£30)

Sometimes bundled with Maps
705 + HRM + Speed/Cadence Sensor + City Nav NT 2010 UK (+£60)
705 + HRM + Speed/Cadence Sensor + City Nav NT 2010 Europe (+£100)

Note: Product numbers NOT ending 21/31 are imports. (20/30 are from the US).
