I have been rummaging around in the archives looking for Witham peloton route for tomorrow evening and I have found THIS GEM (not that Jem) from December 2015.  Not only will it be easy to rendezvous with Tomsk we can also scoop Josser up as well

Any voices of dissent?

That works for me if I can make it over to Spa in time.

Joss - if you want Chelmsford cycle path review, lmk...

I'll see you guys at the Woolpack....
Regards,

Joergen

That's a good excuse to be out on the bike then and not have to hide indoors with the lights off pretending no one is in when little gits angels/demons come knocking on the door expecting sweets to be thrown at them.

Because it does.  Is there a risk you might get lost after Hatty P?

I'll see folks at the pub.  I'm working until 8pm with the 'Merkans.

The Witham peloton might like to follow THIS ROUTE from the archives.

That displays an uncharacteristic-for-OD lack of loops, gratuitous wiggles and Flitch Way!

I think it was originally my route suggestion for our first visit.

Take a closer look. On the return journey he has you taking the 'wrong' turning off the roundabout across the Great Leighs Bypass, and through a 'forest' to get back on track. There's also an 'out and back' at Willows Green.

But perhaps that is less gratuitous than usual?

That’s coz that link is to OD’s as ridden track, not what was plotted to be followed!!

Was that the ride The Lynx’s crank fell off twice so we dropped him?

I believe so. Despite the chortling peloton leaving me all alone, misty eyed and stranded in the cold, dark night, I managed to repair my crankset and make it home.
