Title: Thelonius Monk
Post by: clifftaylor on 12 July, 2008, 08:03:29 pm
I've just noticed that I have 2 copies of "Live at the IT Club", a work of genius if you like that sort of thing, and a right racket if you don't. A double CD, a great work of art, loads of top tunes etc. Can't remember the cost, but I'd like to pass it on, so to speak - first come, first served, no cost to you.

I'd love it if it's still available!

I've never listened to him, but my ex-Boss was such an enthusiast that he picked his demon host name based on it.  You just reminded me to go and look at his website, and it hasn't been updated in ten years. :-\

According to the Profanisaurus, "Thelonius" is rhyming slang for...er...population paste, for rather obvious reasons.

I am reminded of a line from The Mighty Boosh

"You looked like a supply teacher at a jazz festival"
